I didn’t plan to become an artist. I followed a feeling.

 

As a teenager, I struggled to focus in school—but I always found comfort in a sketchbook. Doodling helped me concentrate, and over time, I began creating intricate mandalas without even knowing what they were. I didn’t realize it then, but drawing became my first form of meditation—a quiet way to feel grounded and at peace in the middle of chaos.

 

Years later, after building a successful business that no longer aligned with me, I found myself burnt out and disconnected from my own joy. That’s when I returned to art—and to myself.

 

Drawing mandalas again felt like coming home. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a spiritual practice. I wasn’t just making art—I was moving energy, listening inward, and reconnecting with something greater. Over time, the mandalas began to speak back. Each one carried a message, a frequency, a kind of guidance.

 

Now, I create with intention—drawing entirely by hand, often in meditation, allowing each piece to unfold naturally. Every line is part of a deeper conversation. A way to translate emotion, energy, and remembrance into form.

 

Portals of Empowerment was born from this space—where creativity, healing, and intuition meet. My hope is that these pieces help you reconnect with your own inner knowing, just as they continue to do for me.
